Yes. A number of MVP's have emailed me from time to time to discuss
comments I have made in the Microsoft groups. It is much easier to
clarify concerns using email (IMO). Do not be fooled by PF - in fact,
try and find out a bit about *him* before accusing *me* of harassment!

Nor is mine!

If you are lucky you, too, *may* live a long and happy life! :)
I'd be really interested to learn of any case of libel or harassment
brought about as a result of posts made on any Usenet group. It is
all
just a fantasy world but is most certainly frequented by crooks, low
life and criminals. It's so bad, in fact, that Gregory Gooden
withdrew
his 300+ groups from Usenet ...... and from Google Groups too. Out of
interest, are you a 'member' of Annexcafe? Lots of folk post
information
about themselves there - *I* did! You'll not find anything about
Peter
Foldes there though - in fact, he even 'registered' as Derek Feldman
rather than under his *real* name (you're kidding right!) You'll see
this in his Header when he posts there: X-Authenticated-User: Derek

I appreciate that you don't know the history of our
'relationship' (or
do you?). You cannot know that he has lied consistently (but *I* do!)
and becomes really angry when he inadvertently lets slip little
snippets
of information (like when boasting about the speed of his T3 Internet
connection, Do you know what T3 is?).

You now have my attention. Tell me, how did you become aware that
'dialogue' was taking place here? It is quite surprising how many
folk
now come here for purposes other than for 'testing'! It has fast
become
*my* group rather than a genuine Microsoft 'test facility - it is run
by
Microsoft ...... isn't it? Are you sure about that? How can you tell?

When I first came to a newsgroup, I had absolutely no idea about
'Headers' or IP addresses - or that they can (and, indeed, are)
easily
forged or obfuscated. I am far better equipped now, though, than four
years ago, that's for sure, but I have never been trying to hide. I
have
nothing *to* hide. The change I made to your post was obvious and had
no
serious intent (as I know that you know!).

I have no idea who *you* are or why you are here.

I've mentioned before that because of my 20+ years of active service
in
the Royal Navy I qualified for continuing service with MI5 (rather
like
007) but decided to help on a non-contractual basis without accepting
further Government funds. I do, though, keep in close contact with
'the
authorities'.

No - I don't hear voices.

I do not believe that/you.

Phew! That *is* a relief!

That is your prerogative. Shame though, I like good and honest people.
