Hi BoaTers!
Before announcing BoaT this week I want to gauge interest to see if we have enough people. Please respond letting me know if (and when) you'll come to BoaT tomorrow if it's on, and I'll respond in kind tonight or early tomorrow letting people know. Hopefully we will =)
In other news, Silver Spring Non-Life Master Sectionals were this past weekend, and Steve and I brought home strong finishes in both the Saturday AM and PM under-50 masterpoint section. Against fields of 14 and 9 tables, respectively, in both events we took 2nd place overall, 1st North/South, and 1st under-25 MP. The combined winnings of 2.45 masterpoints pushed both of us over the rank requirement for Junior Master, which made for a pleasant surprise for a partnership which usually devolves into arguments and bitter recriminations =P
Coming soon are Fairfax Sectionals Thu-Sun Oct 31 (I'll be out of town), and the Washington Bridge League holiday party before the Unit game Thu Dec 16. Silver Spring Sectionals in the new year.
