We plays the bridge some tomorrow? We'll need at least two, as Ken is trying to write his Defense at UMD. Though, he'll maybe join for
a hand or two. Is Ray still eaten by the show? Do other people exist or are lives consumed by "work" and "obligations" and their ilk?
Also: We can signal attitude (though we often argue "standard" vs. "upside down"), and some of us use suit preference discarding. But,
many of us don't use or know how to use count signaling well (I fall into both categories). Suggestions? How important is it? Does it
matter if one is defending a suited or a no trump contract? I've seen solid arguments for showing a suit preference even when following
suit, which would seem to entirely preclude both. Discuss.
