BoardSilly Games Club meet tonight at the Newbold Comyn Arms from 8:00.
Come along and have fun playing board games, card games, dice games and (occasionally) dexterity / skill based games, from a selection owned by the club or brought to the pub by you and other people who turn up.
We usually play "Euro games" that don't have player elimination as a game mechanism, so all players are involved throughout, and you aren't twiddling your thumbs waiting for everyone else to finish.
We welcome new people who would like to play games and we explain how each game works for those who have not played before or not played recently and want a rules refresher.
Bring some games (optional), money for drinks and 50p subs (unless it's your first visit).
There probably aren't any Johns in attendance tonight, for various different reasons, which will be unusual.
It's International Women's Day so if anyone has any games on theme or designed by women do bring them along.... You might struggle... Thurn and Taxis or Quirkle might have had a female hand at the helm?
