In response to our invitation to members of the Dog Park to join us in considering additional locations, Mike Rosenberg of Larchwood Ave volunteered. I will add him to the list for the next version of the Relocations Task Force. 

Lynn and I talked today and updated the spreadsheet of options for possible dog parks. As part of our discussion we considered several ways to move The Woodlands toward approving the ball park land. I want to convene a meeting of the board to consider this question. One thought is to review who on the board knows current members of The Woodlands Board of Directors. I will circulate a list for you to mark and return.

Under what circumstances would we consider seeking a Dog Park site for a short term while we work to get The Woodlands to say yes to a long term Dog Park there? 

Some of the sites on the spreadsheet of options are land owned by the city. A visit to Jamie Gautier is likely one strategy we would want to pursue in relation to those sites. What is your relationship to Jamie? Would you be an appropriate person to meet with her? Why? Why not? I will not contact her prior to both a Relocation Task Force meeting and a Board meeting. At the Board meeting we would decide if this is appropriate and what to ask of Jamie. 

Let me know:

1. Will you meet with the new Relocations Task Force
2. Whether you would be appropriate to meet with Jamie Gautier.
3. Whether you think we could/should look for a short term land rental for a Dog Park.
