Folks – here is the mail I’m planning on sending to the team. Let me know if you’ve got any comments.
We had our December board meeting last night and in keeping with our bylaws, we looked at who would like to be on the board for 2014. After a fair amount of discussion on everyone’s personal goals for 2014, we came to the conclusion that a large number of folks currently on the board would like to step down from the board and contribute to the team in other ways. So – there are quite a few board positions available. If you’re interested in participating at a board level, please drop me (geo...@alum.mit.edu) a note and I can give you more detail on the type of work that’s involved, what kind of time commitment it is, what we’re thinking about for 2014 directions, etc. We need to make this transition in the next couple of weeks so that we can agree on 2014 scope, work activities, board organization, etc.
I’ve also attached the results of the survey to share with you the responses we received from the survey.
It’s been great working with you all in 2013. I hope that you and your family have a fun and safe holiday and I look forward to riding, volunteering and socializing with you in 2014!
