Quick reminder that we’ll meet tonight, 6:15-8 pm at Pinkard Construction. We’ll also have a dial-in:

Call-in toll-free number: 1-888-7218686  (US)

Call-in number: 1-303-9282657  (US)

Participant access code: 546 204 8

Please note the 6:15 start time (I have a work meeting on that bridge # until 6:15 so please don’t join that # until 6:15).

Agenda:

-          Board positions for 2014. I think we should talk about this one first. I know that a number of folks are looking to back down their time commitment and participation at a board level so I want to talk about this first. I think the outcome of those discussions will heavily influence what we do in 2014.

-          Review team survey monkey poll results (5 minutes)

-          Future direction of the team. Stay the course, disband, adjust to do something different, etc.

I’m imagining that this might be a bit rowdy so let’s all come into the meeting with an understanding that we’re all participating for good reasons and are well intentioned. I will act as traffic cop and will moderate any behavior (including my own!) that gets too crazy.

Talk to you tonight!

thx,

g

Bummer! But family comes first, for sure. I’d like to forward your mail to the board. Let me know if you’re ok with this and I’ll forward it along.

George,

Hate to do this, but Robin's on call tonight and it looks like I'm going to have to take Audrey to her school concert. Would it be considered rude to listen to the meeting through my ear buds during the concert? Yeah, that might be frowned on, especially by my daughter.

I wanted to let you know that I agree with you on the state of the team. I love Rich's enthusiasm and would like to see the team start an annual ride. I just fail to see how we have the resources to form one. With our current members and lack of support out of Livestrong, money and time are just too thin to make it work. I feel Livestrong is missing the boat on not supporting a ride in the Denver/Front Range area and hope that there could be an event, in the near future, that the team could jump onto and support. Maybe we could look at an alternative ride to support in the coming year.

I've always had a great time with the team and plan to continue to support the team activities. I hope we can continue to get out on group rides (the addition of hikes would be fun too), staff a Pro Challenge booth, and meet for fundraising events. The idea of meeting for some 5K runs (especially if it supports a good charity) would be a blast.

While I would likely not participate in a competitive racing team, I would be willing to come out and support the team however I could.

Please pass on my best regards to the team. I'm very sorry for not showing tonight. I also wanted to let you and Rich know that my lack of support for a Team Charity Ride is NOT a lack of support for our leadership or the team. I hope to support the Team as much as I can for the foreseeable future.

Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year,

Timmy Richter.
