Dear Friends of the Myers Center,
I hope you will be able to attend this event and the others in this series co-sponsored by the Myers Center.
Best,
Deborah

-----
The American Indian Graduate Student Association invites you to attend the inaugural lecture in our 1st annual student lecture series "Crossing Paths: Graduate & Undergraduate Exchanges of Indigenous Research." Please join us Wednesday September 25th in 554 Barrows from noon-1 PM.

Tria Andrews (Ethnic Studies PhD candidate and Myers Center Graduate Fellow, Cherokee) will read creative work entitled "The Politics of Love and the Politics of Blood" and James Barrios (Environmental Economics & Policy undergraduate, Yokut) will present "Prop 39 and Energy Use in Schools Across California."

This lecture series aims to provide a space for graduate and undergraduate students to showcase their research. Bringing graduate and undergraduate students together is a critical step towards bridging the divide between the two, while also facilitating conversations about Native peoples and issues across campus.

Each lecture will feature a Native faculty or staff member as a moderator, two presenters (one grad student and one undergrad), and a complimentary lunch!

And be sure to mark your calendars for the remaining dates in the series!

We hope to see you there!
