Dear Fellow Berkeley Law Students,

Please show support for solidarity and vote Rock S.O.L.I.D. this Wed. and Thurs. from 10am-2pm in the Donor Lobby.

Solidarity means students standing together as a united front to promote and protect ALL student interests. The candidates on the Rock S.O.L.I.D. slate believe we can only address our individual and collective challenges through solidarity. We will work to bring the community together, empower students, and work together to address the potential and increasing challenges our community at Boalt is facing. As leaders and members of various and intertwining communities, it is imperative that we elect BHSA student representatives who will stand for the entire student body and champion the right of all students to impact the changing dynamics of our public education.

We will work to strengthen the Boalt community by focusing on Students Openness, Leadership, Inclusivity, and Diversity.

S.O.L.I.D. seeks to accomplish the following policy goals:

Students

Fight Against Tuition Increases

Secure the future of student organizations by diversifying BHSA’s funding sources

Openness

Bi-weekly office hours

Improve administrative accountability

Joint email account to promote communication with students.

(Famil...@gmail.com)

Leadership

Provide MORE Need-Based Grants

Continue to Work with the CDO to be more responsive to ALL students’ needs

Inclusion

Ensure changes to the academic calendar are good for ALL students

Solicit the perspectives of all students and advocate on behalf of the entire community.

Diversity

Recruit, admit and retain faculty and students who will enrich the Boalt community with diverse experiences, perspectives, and schools of thought.

We would be honored to serve the community as leaders of BHSA.

Please vote Rock S.O.L.I.D.
