Hi

I want to access the mailing list archives of sourceforge projects.i am aware that the mailing list archives can be accessed only by the  project administrator.Does the dataset provided by BOA include the mailing list archive of java projects. I don't find any domain specific types supported to access mailing list archives.

I am new to Boa, how can i access the mailing list archives. kindly guide me.

At the moment the dataset does not include any mailing list data/archives.

Hi Robert

i wish to mine the mailing list archive for the MSR mining challenge. The MSR website directs us to use the dataset provided by BOA for mining. How can i do this when the dataset doesn't include mailing list data. Is there any possible way to include the mailing list data into the dataset or where can i request for the mailing list data. kindly advice.

Hi Hemaa,

The MSR challenge is for participants to come up with unique and interesting research questions that utilize Boa and specifically Boa’s dataset.  At the moment that dataset does not include mailing list archives.  As such, you will not be able to mine mailing list archives for the 2016 MSR mining challenge.

That said, the dataset does include a lot of *other* data!  Perhaps the analysis you were hoping to perform can be done on something else, like commit logs?  If so you can still participate in the challenge!
