We now have an initial Eclipse IDE plugin for Boa available.  See this page for more details: http://boa.cs.iastate.edu/ide/

The IDE supports basic features like syntax highlighting, limited code completion, and allows you to submit and view Boa jobs directly in the IDE.

In the future we plan to expand it to provide additional features such as semantic checking, better code completion, automatic fixes, etc.  Keep an eye out for future releases!

Very cool! Thanks for doing this. Did you implement the syntax in XText?

Hi Neil,

As a matter of fact, we did!  And we are open sourcing the IDE now:

If you know Xtext and want to help, please do!  It is a very basic set of features now and we aren’t overly familiar with Xtext yet.
