Hi,
My name is Javad Kamyabi.

I want to enumerate software faults. for example pre-relase defects or post-release defects.

Actually I want count code defects and find a relationship between a defective component(class, object, etc) and the other software metrics.

I cant find any helpful example for such a need. might you please help me?

From what I understand about your query if defects are fixed in code, such fixes could be found using Boa. This example illustrates the idea "How many revisions fix bugs in all Java projects using SVN?"
