Dear Volunteers,
I hope you all had a great start in October. I really enjoyed how we worked together last time, and now looking ahead, as our English Scholarship program goes, we are seeking for a volunteer who can take on some more responsibilities in our English program. Specifics are as follows:
l Program: US State Department ACCESS Scholarship English Program in BNVS Beijing
l Responsibilities:
1. Assist organizing and running English events;
2. Coordinating and recruiting volunteers.
l Requirements:
1. 18 year-old or older;
2. Have a compassionate heart for migrant youth;
3. Good communication skills, preferably bilingual (Chinese and English);
4. Time commitment: being able to come to most of our events in this school year (scheduled on last Saturday of each month-- Sep 28th, Oct 26th, Nov 30th, Dec 28th in 2013 and Feb 22nd, Mar 29th, Apr 26th, May 31st, Jun 28th in 2014) , and work flexibly on organizing these events;
5. Preferably some teaching experience;
6. Basic computer skills.
l Benefits:
1. We strive for making sure all of our volunteers have a great sense of accomplishment and gain good connections with both our students and staff by working at BNVS.
2. A token allowance for 100RMB/teaching hour (approximately 6 hours per month).
3. Service Certification can be provided.
