Hi Everyone,

The lesson plan this week is geography. Below are our signups for tomorrow:

Rui Ma (1/2 day)
Gina Shi
Freeman Ding
Vincent Hsu
Sherry Dan

It would be really great if we can get additional volunteers for this first week, since we pretty much only have 1 person per classroom.  See you guys tomorrow!

Best,
Gina

Hi Rui, Gina, Vincent,

It feels like a long time since our last farewell at BNVS, right before CNY (much longer for Rui). I hope you have a great vacation, and are all fresh to teach again.

As I have told, the school has re-grouped students in the Access program by their recent English final exam score. There will be again four classes:
Class A: 19 students, second to highest score group
Class B: 20 students, third to highest
Class C: 20 students, highest
Class D: 30 students, non-Access program (as last semester)

And for this coming Sat, Vincent will lead Class A, I with Class B, Gina with Class C, and Rui with Class D. The theme is Geography. I have taken the liberty to work on the material and have attached the PPT for your reference and comment.

The material are quite basic and straight forward. But I would encourage the teachers, as they see fit, to elaborate more during class to make the subject more interesting. I have left plenty of rooms for exercises--single and groups.

I suggest we will meet at 8.30 am Sat to touch base. Please invite your volunteer to join.

Lastly, there are still questions with the syllabus of this semester. Can we, including volunteers, to meet at the office after Sat class to finalize the syllabus.

See you Sat,
Andrew

Dear all,

This Saturday’s topic  has been changed to “World Geography” (June 1 session will be canceled due to another event). Andrew is kindly helping prepare the PPT material and should be ready around Wed. We can also discuss on the topics this Saturday. Please kindly send me a quick note on whether you will be coming, so I can plan the logistics better. Also spread the words so we have more volunteersJ

See you all at 845am this Saturday!

Best,

Sheng

Dear Andrew, Vincent, Rui and Gina,

Please find attached PPT and lesson plan for this Saturday’s English session on Easter. Given the plan is a bit different from our usual classes, please kindly read the plan carefully. Each lead teacher will be in charge of 1 station. We have prepared all the material needed (eggs, prizes, etc), so don’t worry about that.

If you have any questions or suggestions, let us know. Let’s meet at 830am on Saturday.

Ps, Our dearest Wenjie will be back (and for the rest of the term)J

Thank you!

Best,

Sheng
