Hey everyone,

It's that special time again when we need our volunteers to sign up! This week's topic is Lodging. I've fwd the lesson plan Andrew had prepared for this week. Also, since Rui, Vincent and I will be out of town for 12/22, please let us know if you can volunteer for next week as well!

Hi Teachers,

This week we will use 'Home & Lodging' as theme. I propose to focus on
two subjects which are simple to communicate and allow
creativity--buying a dream home and making hotel reservation. The
attached PowerPoint should be quite self-explanatory. Do feel free to
elaborate and improvise.

We will have four classes--A to D-- this weekend. Class E, the nursing
students group, has other engagement and will not join us. Wenjie is
reviewing the volunteer situation and will decide who will teach Class
D.

Since Class A, B, C didn't have time to talk about 'Food' last Sat, I
suggest we will include it this week. Class D teachers can decide if
they want to use 'Food' as review exercise to add more variety. I have
included both 'Food' and 'Home & Lodging' sections in the PowerPoint.
You will also find there are two different versions of 'Cover' and
'Teaching Plan'. Just select the slides that suit you.

Weather forecast indicates temperature on Sat is cloudy, 4 - -4 C,
North wind 6km/h, and -3 C at 8am. Do dress warm.
