Hi,

I am sorry for the tardiness of this message. There were some last
minute arrangement changes, and I have to re-work the PowerPoint last
night.

We want to do something different in this last class of the
semester--we are not going to teach any new subject--it is
conversational exercises all the way. The class will run from 9am to
12.15pm. There will be two main sections: 9am-11.25am covers pass six
weeks material plus a 'New' (suggested by Vincent) and a feedback
section; 11.25am-12.15pm students will take over the class to do a
game section (Beware!).

For the first section, depends on the numbers of volunteers, students
will be divided into groups, volunteers will sit among them and start
a conversation based on past weeks material. In the PowerPoint, there
are six slides with questions and teaching pointers covering each of
the past six weeks. You can use them as guides when you converse with
students. I suggest you spend 15 min for each slide, and all
volunteers rotate (change group) after each slide/topic (allow
students to have a different conversational experience). Just a heads
up, student may suggest to use a different exercise (game) format. You
will decide whatever is appropriate.

In the second section, we will let the student 'take over' the class
to do games and god knows what.

There will be four classes tomorrow: Class A Rm 404 Andrew, Class B Rm
410 Vincent, Class C 3/F Auditorium  Stephan, Class D Rm 409 Gina.

Weather forecast: 1/12 8am -- -9 C, 6Km/H SE

I hope you find the above arrangements alright. We can further discuss
and make changes when we meet tomorrow at 8.30.

Cheers
Andrew
