Hey everyone!

There's another session this week, November 10 from 8:30AM - 11:25AM. It's shorter than normal since the students have another activity at 11:30AM. This week's topic will be Transportation, Directions, and BJ Attractions. Please let us know if you can make it! So far we have the following volunteers confirmed:

Vincent Hsu
Vincent Han
Gina

We need at least 1 more volunteer and 3 more ideally (3 per class). The lesson plan is included below from our coordinator Andrew for your reference.

Best,
Rui & Gina

Dear All,

On this coming Sat BNVS English class, we will talk about Transportation, Directions, and Beijing Attractions. This will be part of the preparation for a later day Outing where we will let the students to conduct survey exercises with foreign tourists. Please review the attached PowerPoint, and let me know if you have any comments. I want to point out the PPT is just a teaching tool for you, and it also serves as a common content platform. I encourage you to gauge your students' response and expand from that. You may consider to turn the class exercise into a game where one group of student can ask for directions and the other group responds. Hope you and your students have a lot of fun.

Please dress warm. It's going to rain and temperature will be around 1 degree C in the early morning.

See you,
Andrew

I'm super impressed by this week's signups despite the super early time and ridiculously cold weather! Here's a list of the volunteers and the breakdown of the classes:

Pam Vachatimanont
YuanYuan Fang
Gina Shi

Class 2:
Vincent Han
Freeman Ding
Julian Wang
Sherry Dan

See you guys bright and early tomorrow!

Best,
Rui & Gina
