Help: emacs outline minor mode, allout.el

Hi Folks,

I find emacs outline minor mode, allout.el very helpful as authoring
tool. It helps me to draft document by laying out outline first then
work on each section, top-down, stepwise.

My question is after I finish writing, how I can remove topic prefixes
and identifiers from the text. As unfortunately, the standard documentation
processor is not LaTex here, I have to export my allout helped text to
a publishing software. I think a similar mode, fold.el, has function
called print-buffer that will flattern the text and translate the
structure identifier into lables of sections, eg.

1.0 My top level topic
1.1 My subtopic one
...
