Okay what am I missing?

Say I want to ignore a child termination signal so I issue:

signal(SIG_CLD, SIG_IGN)

fine, so I am ignoring this signal.

Now lets say I change my mind and I want to wait for this signal
to occur so that I know my child has died.

--> HOW DO I RE-ESTABLISH A DESIRE TO PAY ATTENTION TO SIG_CLD??

signal takes only three possible alternatives for the second
argument: SIG_DFL, SIG_IGN, or the address of some customized function

My only choice is signal(SIG_CLD, SIG_DFL) but according to the manual
the default is to SIG_IGN and that is what I'm trying to reverse.

Ideas? Please send e-mail, I'll post any responses.

Thanks,
