Hex to Decimal in C Shell script

HELP!

I have a variable that is Hex in a C Shell script and I would like
to convert it to decimal. Is there a way to do it?


eg set temp1=0x400044
echo $temp1 but it should be 4194372 ... ie. the decimal value
