No Book Club Thanksgiving week + runoff poll

There will be no Book Club meeting the week of American Thanksgiving:
the meeting on the 26th of November has been canceled. That means
we've got about a month till the next meeting on 10 December.

This conveniently gives us a bit more time to sort out what we'll be
reading/viewing. We have far more choices than we do voters, so it's
possible for everyone to vote for something entirely different, which
leaves us with no clear winner.

I issued a smaller poll with the ties for first place from the first
poll. That poll closes Friday.

In future general polls, I'll be combining the multiple choices per
book that we have now into a single choice. If a combined book option
wins, I'll open a quick poll to pick which of the selections from that
book we want to read.
