Hi,

As we all know, the supply of engineering graduates is more than the what the industries/corporates require, for the past 8-10 years. There are also reports that suggests the employability of these graduates is decreasing year by year (due to lack of quality colleges/higher expectations from corporates). Studies show that Engineering students from top 10-15% colleges (or from specific departments of a college) have campus selection options. Searching for a good job once out of the college depends on the score, analytical ability, their college's name etc.

But without considering this reality, parents from semi-urban/rural areas are spending heavily in enrolling their children to average/mediocre colleges with the assumption that BE degree will somehow fetch a good. This is not true anymore.

With this background, we need recommendation from you on alternative options to BE and Medical. It could be B.Sc (and something after), integrated M.Sc, defence colleges, career focused on biotech/bioscience, etc. etc. We also need to recommend good colleges across Karnataka.

Please fill out this short survey for us to understand the current situation and alternate options for Science students  - https://goo.gl/forms/GCsUte9j0uXLMxZ42

Please forward this survey to your friends who are in touch with the current day scenarios!

Thanks in advance.
