Excellent Meeting & the PB basics

Hi everyone

I thought we had a good meeting on Friday. Hopefully we will get 2 or 3 additional members.

Turning to the Phil Berg Bascis

It would be great to get these in place. As a reminder:

1. Lapel Pins
   
2. Name Badges
   
3. Arrive early 6.15
   
4. Smile
   
5. Excellent Meeting
   

I think by now we know the value of the Lapel Pins - Julian, Ray and Karen can attest.

The name badges make life easier for Visitors and that can only help.

So please can everyone wear these. There are spare pins in the cardboard box. If you have lost or broken your badge holder let the LT know and we'll get some asap.

Arrival time - some members are habitually late or close to late. Please turn up before the Visitors. There is nothing worse than Visitors arriving to an empty room...
And it gives everyone plenty of time to network with other members. Talking will get you referrals...

Smile - I think Phil covered this today. and it goes hand in hand with

Excellent Meeting - As he said nobody will want to join a boring meeting. This is critical.

I think the energy has dropped since the happy clappy insistence. 
We have stopped clapping the 60s. This will help us as we grow. The more members we have the longer the presentation round and the slicker it needs to be. So it is a good habit to get.

The energy needs to come in the 60s presentations.

BUT we can clap

here are six place we can and should clap to add energy to the meeting.

• ENTHUSIASM - During the intros; Membership Committee and roles
• CLAP - after the Ed Slot
• CLAP - the network leaders
• CLAP - new and renewing members
• CLAP - VP reports
• CLAP - 10 minute presentation
• CLAP - As visitors stand to leave the room, during the visitor statement
  

So, please everyone, can we make a special effort to do the five basics at this week's meeting
