Hi All
Having had time to reflect on my actions in this mornings meeting I would like to take this opportunity to apologise to all those that was in the meeting today, I realise that I should have dealt with this in a different way and with a different attitude,
Having said that, I felt that I had been publicly belittle having only asking a simple question wasn't expecting at the end if the question "I would have thought that was obvious" had that of been the case I would not have been asking the question in the first instance,

Any way just thought I needed to apologise especially to Gary sorry as it really wasn't any of your doing

Hope there is some understanding

Kind regards

Ladies and gentlemen, I was very unhappy with the exchange this morning during the meeting which is why I asked that it ceased when I called out during the altercation. I do not think it helps that tempers become frayed during such an exchange and that others not party to the argument join in. We are intelligent business people and the sort of outburst this morning not only belittles but embarrasses.

I can sympathise with both sides. I have never professed to be computer literate nor do I understand all the intricacies of what can be done on line and on sites for tracking potential customers and I can therefore sympathise with Wayne on asking questions about a subject that he did not understand. I can also sympathise with Chris who because of his intimate knowledge of his subject thinks that all understand everything he is saying and many of the younger element of our Chapter do especially if they are under 60, I do not qualify on that point! I was just about following what was being said  but then if I have a query on this sort of thing I have staff or a geeky son in law to ask who do understand it and more importantly sort it out for me!

I thought that the meeting was of a great deal of use, both the Ed Slot and also the proposals and that we should now all move forward and try and control tempers and egos and put this morning behind us.
