I would vote for the buffet. Sent from my U.S. Cellular® Android phone Valerie Neely <valn...@wi.rr.com> wrote:
Hi Fellow Mavericks,
I met with both the Sheraton and Panos regarding Visitor Day. Sheraton will not work because of room rental requirements and higher prices for food. I checked the room at Panos and it's quite nice, main level behind the dining room and can accommodate up to 100 ppl. I went ahead and put a hold on the room and paid a deposit of $100 which George said would be returned to me if we meet a 50 person minimum. I figured this would be a safe number since even if we each bring 1 Visitor we're in good shape. Last year, according to Best Western, we had 70 ppl. They are not able to accommodate us this year. Back to Pano's . . . If we don't reach 50 people total, we will have to pay a $50 room rental fee PLUS I lose my $100.
Here's the pricing for both Continental Breakfast and Full Buffet Breakfast. George feels that with a large group like this the meeting would flow easier if we would just do the Continental since people tend to linger longer in a buffet line and it takes a lot longer to eat. Having been in the business I have to agree. Please let me know your preference:
Continental Breakfast - $10.50pp + 18% gratuity + 5.1% tax = $13.02 per person
Coffee, Rolls, Juice, Fruit
Buffet Breakfast - $12.95 pp + 18% gratuity + 5.1% tax = $16.06 per person
Scrambled eggs; bacon; sausage; french toast; juice; coffee; fruit
Thanks everyone . . . . .. GO PACK! . . . . . Have a great Sunday!
Val
