Hi
Everyone,
I want to give
everyone an update on the plans for the Visitor Day. The date is confirmed
for April 22, 2008. I have sent an email to Trey for him to reserve that
date (he said in his last email that he was going to mark it out until he heard
back from us). Jonathan (our new Event Coordinator) is going to work with
Tom to check a few additional places to try and find a location. Our goal
is that it costs less than $50 per member of our chapter. With us having
some money to use from our chapter account, I think we should be able to do
that.
The assignment for
everyone is to start looking through your database and contacts to create a list
of businesses that you can invite to this visitor day. At our next
meeting, we are going to go around the room and ask each person to report the
number of people on their invite list. There is a page in the attached
document called the "Successful Kick-off / Visitors Day!! Confirmation Sheet
that you can use to keep a list of those to invite. There is also a list
of professions you can use to think of people you know in each of these
professions.
See you next
week.
Scott
Oh, by the way, if you
know someone who is thinking about financial planning (which includes planning
for retirement, college funding, investing, life insurance and long term care
insurance) and would appreciate the kind of service I offer, I would love to
meet them. As these people come to mind, please introduce them to
me.
