Hi,

I'm supporting a bndtools user behind a proxy that requires login (username/password).   This person wants to use the ECF remote services workspace template [1] with bndtools (4.3 on Eclipse 2019-9).

Two questions:

1) Is there some documentation available on configuring the proxy access in bndtools?
2) Does bndtools use the Eclipse proxy preferences to configure it's proxy access?  If not, does it want to?

See https://bnd.bndtools.org/instructions/connection-settings.html for how to configure proxies, etc for Bnd.

You can also use the `bnd com` command (I think the com subcommand is new for 4.3). Run `bnd com help` for available options.

Just to be clear...configuration of bnd as described in link above affects all of the bndtools download situations?  (e.g. workspace template contents, maven repos in workspace, etc)?

Anything that goes through Bnd's HttpClient class which is most everything these days. There may be some rarely used classes which do direct URLConnection.
