The original P/N 65711391432 is NLA.  Has anyone been able to find a substitute or have any other suggestions?

Thank you,

Bill

Bicycle cable kits can be used to make many different small cables used on cars.  Sometimes a little fabrication is needed at the ends.

Gary,
These bicycle cable kits can be found online but I have seen them in several local bike shops.  If they need a lead end swedged on one or both ends, the tool to do so is inexpensive and it’s easy to use.  I just built one for my 1972 2002tii that latches and unlatches the hood.  As you said, with a little fabrication effort this can be reproduced pretty easily.
