Water Pump???

Greetings!

Had a water pump fail on a recently sold car and was looking for a fix.

Was wondering what folks are currently doing for replacement of water pumps s
ince they are no longer available from BMW in the USA.

Quick research shows a rebuild service and a few used pumps out on the marketplaces…

Seems like either part number will work - 11511315563 11511315559

By chance does anyone have a source or a spare lying around?

They are rebuilt but with new factory bearings and seals.  Maybe the impeller, also.  They are like new.  These have been NLA for a time.  He needs the core returned.

Highly recommend Anri.  Sent him my water pump and he changed the impeller to increase flow to suit my application.  This was back in 2012.  Still works like new in the E12 at any temperature!

Hi guys (long time since...).

I can confirm waterpumps E34 M5 3.8 even 3.6 now again = have been NLA for some time.

I have a standing order with BMW since November 2023 (!!) for

= S38B38 = 11511315559

PLEASE place an order if you want a spare = this is how that f... BMW system works.

I admit I am pretty fed up with BMW and their attitude to spare parts supply for our

‘older’ BMWs.
