When I replaced the transmission I put in a short shift kit but I need a weighted knob to sharpen up the shifts.

The catch is, I do not want to go shorter and would love to keep the illumination.

BMW made a Tall Anatomic Weighted 5-Speed Shift Knob (25117503231)  but it is not illuminated.

Thoughts?  Buy the Tall BMW knob, if I can find one, and retrofit a light?  Or get rid of the SSK.

I had one from Racing Dynamics, it was not illuminated though but I think there are a few out with the weight and illumination.

I ended up buying a generic ( Pursuestar ) knob for $15 from Amazon.  It is weighted and taller than the ZHP.  Feels really good.  I don't think it will last but the price was right.  I am plan on transplanting the illumination from my OG knob.
