I'm still enjoying my '93 M5 but it is seldom getting driven as most of my attention has turned to the house and my 2 hunting dogs - one of which has epilepsy!

There have been some interesting sales on Bring-A-Trailer lately - in particular a beautiful low mileage '93 M5 black on black.  I was watching because I plan on putting mine up for sale next year and mine has a long list of euro options and besides engine and suspension work mods has a factory 4:10 rear end!  Also have a polished staggered 18" wheels stacked in the closet!

In reality, it's taking up needed garage space along with my Dietel Alpina modified '71 BMW Bavaria which was last registered in 2002!!  Need to get this car out and running so that it can be enjoyed for a while and then also let go of!

Funny thing, when you hit around 70 years of age the priorities and what appeals to you change!

Look forward to hearing from all of the old group - we also don't last forever!!

I sold my '96 M3 on BaT. I think for cars like the E34 M5 it's worth it ($100 I think).

I definitely made the $'s back in exposure to a broader market AND, even better, I met w/ the new enthusiast owner and continue to watch the care (via social media). Overall a good experience.

I cannot recommend BaT highly enough!  I decided to sell my original owner 1993 in May 2019 thinking I would be lucky to get KBB's estimate of $18k at that time.  After a little research (BaT and Hagerty) I decided to list on BaT with a reserve of $25k.  I actually got $50k and the entire process was an absolute pleasure.  The only problem was that I regretted selling it almost immediately and then privately bought its 1991 twin in nice condition in July (previous sale shown below).  LOL!
