2014 R1200 GS LC

Hi team,

Today I sniffed my bike with Longan’s Serial Canbus module by referencing Keith’s implementation but the only info i could get is abs on-off info. I used K50 references on the excel file and it seems that the message IDs are different as I couldn’t catch signals, flash2pass, wheel, horn , high beam etc. Any suggestions regarding this or how can I identify the codes by myself and update the spreadsheet?

Hi Bertrand and everyone,

I am adding a .xlsx file which includes all messages captured during my 20 seconds test.

During the test, I tested followings;

1 horn click

1 hazard lights on-off

3 flash2pass

1 high beam

Left & Right signals

Gear: N

Sidestand: Open

I am not sure if my Serial Canbus module captures messages correctly because I can't find my actions in there. I also hopefully checked Keith's open-source implementation of WunderlinkQ https://github.com/blackboxembedded/WunderLINQ-iOS to find updated messages but it seems that they are identical with https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1tUrOES5fQZa92Robr6uP8v2dzQDq9ohHjUiTU3isqdc/edit . 

Any help would be appreciated

Specifically the one which lists all the frames and show the differences (around 0:50 in the video). You can press a button (for example) and visually see what changes in what frame.

Let me know your progress ! I will soon have to do the same on my bike.

Hi Cosmin, 

I did set masks & filters as per the demos online but I couldn't catch my actions, after that, I removed filters to catch all messages.

ie. there are some #10C messages exist, as per the ref excel file here, I should be able to read Killswitch and side stand statuses, but I can't. Can you read some meaningful messages from my excel file?

Hi!
I had a look, but i can't tell.
You have a weird messages on byte0.
I advise you to use a arduino and a mcp2515. With my limited knowledge, I can't help you if I don't know if the messages are properly read.
Check if your can speed is set on 500kb and check if you have a terminal resistor. Sometimes it can make problems if your terminal resistor are not adequate.
As far as I know the 2014 gs it's almost 100% decoded in the .xls file
