BMSCE IEEE: AGM NOTICE

Dear Member:

Warm Greetings on behalf of the BMSCE IEEE!


This communication is to inform the slate for the Executive Committee for the year 2011 and also call for the Annual General Body Meeting of the Student Branch (SB) at which the Executive Committee and the Office Bearers for the year 2011-12 will be elected.


The AGM is scheduled to be held on Saturday, March 26th, 2011 at BSN Hall, BMSCE, Bengaluru at 2:00 PM.


BMSCE IEEE conducts major technical events like seminars, tutorials and workshops conducted on cutting edge technologies covering wide spectrum of fields. The AGM meet is the chance to meet your peers and seniors, interact with them, enrich your professional lives and promote your career interests. Enhance your understanding of the SB, its activities, and how it is run.


Meet the members who are going to be the office bearers for the year 2011. Offer your valuable suggestions - and your services too - so that the Branch is better aware of your needs and can serve to the aspirations of the current membership. Members are encouraged to bring their friends who wish to be part of the esteemed organisation in near future. Kindly make a note of the date in your planner and we look forward to your attending and active participation at the AGM.


The nomination Committee Chaired by Branch Counsellor Dr. Ravishankar Dikshit, with the help of active faculty and students members of the Branch, have proposed the slate for the Executive committee (EXECOM) of the BMSCE IEEE for the year 2011 . The office bearers are as follows:

Chairman : Mr. Suraj Shanbagh, BE (ECE), 6th Semester

Vice-Chair : Ms. Forum Tanna, MCA, 4th Semester

Secretary : Ms. Smitha Shivakumar, BE(TCE), 6th Semester

Treasurer : Ms. Swati Agarwal, BE(EEE), 6th Semester

Joint Secretary: Mr. Vikram Sharma M., BE (ECE), 4th Semester

WIE Chair: Ms. Abhinanditha, MCA, 2nd Semester

Chairs/Coordinators for organizing committees will be decided during the AGM.

The agenda for the AGM is in the attached document. If you wish to have any item included in the agenda, the same may be communicated to undersigned on or before 19th March, 2011.
