Introduction to Quantum Computing and Quantum Cryptography

Biography:
Rohit Ramakrishnan is presently Associate Professor at Aryanet Institute
of Technology, Palakkad, Kerala. He was previously researcher at Centre
for Quantum Technologies, National University of Singapore. Prior to that
he had worked in Quantum Optics research group in Australian Defence Force
Academy and Indian Institute of Science as Research Associate. He has
co-developed Quantum Homodyne Tomographic Code for Photon Detection in
Australia. He has done his B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engg
from College of Engineering Trivandrum, Kerala and Masters in Photonics
from International School of Photonics, CUSAT.

The program will be followed by Tea/Coffee

Note:
The talk is technically supported by IISc student chapters of IEEE
Photoncis society, SPIE and OSA. Those students who are interested to join
or renew their student membership to these societies
are welcome.
