The Baltimore ACM Chapter would like to announce the following lecture:
Title: Cybermaryland
Speaker: Adam Suri,
Maryland Dept. of Business and Economic Development
When: Wednesday, April 14, 7:00 - 8:00 pm
Where: National Electronics Museum
Abstract:
In January, Governor O'Malley announced plans for Maryland to lead the
country in cybersecurity by establishing a National Center of
Excellence for Cyber Security and released the report titled
"Cybermaryland: Epicenter for Information Security and Innovation":

Adam Suri of the Maryland State Department of Business and Economic
Development will speak on the "CyberMaryland" report, the current
progress on this initiative, and how it relates to federal
cybersecurity efforts.
Admission is free and open to the public.
The talk will be preceded by refreshments and a light dinner at 6:30 pm.

Upcoming events:
On Saturday, April 17, BACM and JHUACM will host a career day for
students at the Johns Hopkins University beginning at 1:30 pm. We
expect speakers from the ACI Group, Mind Over Machines, and the
National Security Agency, and possibly more. Details will be
announced soon.
