We will be gathering tonight from 6:30 - 8:30 in the conference room at ETC Canton to continue our foray into iPhone development.

Also, I have updated the Google Group home page with accurate information regarding our new meeting day (Thursday) and our current and past topics.

If you have time, you'll want to have your development environment already set up.  Minimally, you'll need the SDK installed and be able to work within Xcode.  We had been following these guides that Patrick shared with us ( http://groups.google.com/group/bmore-hackers/browse_thread/thread/b9d3a9ce74b6b250 ), but two weeks ago Mark and I took a detour and started working through "iPhone SDK Development" by Adamson, Dudney and Molina.

I don't have much more of an agenda for tonight than to continue working through this.

A mac, an apple developer account, from which you can use to download the iphone SDK.  Try to get that installed, to the point where you can create a Hello, World iPhone project and run the iPhone simulator.  If you run into problems with that, I'm sure someone in the group can help you get up.

I won't be there tonight, maybe next week.

Not essential, but highly recommended:

* http://www.stanford.edu/class/cs193p/cgi-bin/index.php
* http://code.google.com/p/google-toolbox-for-mac/wiki/iPhoneUnitTesting
* iphone_testify gem: includes GTM and some super useful rake tasks
and autotest setup.
* http://blogofpaul.merecomplexities.com/articles/263 (explains how
to use it, but his gem doesn't work with iPhone 3.0 SDK... yet.)
* http://github.com/nevans/iphone_testify/tree/master (my fork
updates it to work with the 3.0 SDK)
* an interesting approach to integrating webapp style code with UIKit)
