Meeting this Week

Hey guys,

I did not follow up after last week's meeting with a recap.  Mark and I skipped over the Obj-C book and just went straight into iPhone development.  We downloaded several sample apps from apple and tried understanding and altering them.  We also spent some time working through iPhone SDK Development (by Adamson, Dudney, and Molina).  Honestly, we've found the apress books to be a little.....for lack of a better word lame.

I would actually like to go to the First Thursdays concert in Mt Vernon Park tomorrow.  I'm not sure who was intending to make tomorrow's meeting, but consider me out.  I definitely intend to continue working directly on iPhone programming at next week's meeting though.

Hey All,

I'm new the the group and a little confused about meeting times. The
google groups page indicates that meetings are every Monday, but
John's last message seems to point to Thursday night meetings. Am I
missing something, can someone set me straight?

The meetings are Thursday now, they were recently re-scheduled to Thursdays.

I can't make it tonight or next week.

I won't be able to make tonight because I'm busy with a paying consultant client for once! Is anyone else going to be able to attend tonight at all?
