Solid-state batteries are safer and more powerful than liquid ones, but current versions use "rubbery" materials that fail when they get hot. This new technology creates a solid electrolyte that stays firm at high temperatures while conducting electricity much more efficiently. This breakthrough solves the overheating weakness, making it a high-performance power source for electric vehicles, drones, and robotics.

Cells naturally release tiny "messaging bubbles" called sEVs to transport materials, making them ideal for delivering medicine. However, these bubbles are fragile; traditional packing methods often pop them or only fill them to 30% capacity. Researchers have now developed a "molecular velcro" using Graphene Quantum Dots that safely guides medicine into these bubbles without breaking them. This breakthrough more than doubles packing efficiency to over 64% and works for a much wider variety of drugs, including complex genetic materials.
