Hello,
On LMS it says that the stretching bandage project is due next
Thursday, but is that only referring to the electronics portion? The
rest of the project components are due at a later date, correct?

The electronics portion includes the nitinol stretching bandage. Make a video demonstrating the bandage working (ie stretching cyclically, if the circuit is done right it should be 0.5Hz) and up load it to youtube. Then email me a link of the video. I will grade it based on that it is working, and if there are any innovations to improve the design.

Also, the image analysis portion of the first project is not due until
Feb. 27th correct? Or is that due next Thursday as well?

You will be apply to approximately see that it is working at 0.5Hz, it doesn't have to be exact. If you only use one capacitor you will see it working at 1Hz, which is too fast and the nitinol wire will not have sufficient time to cool down and fully relax before it tries to stretch again.
I am not sure about the due date for the image correlation project.
