The last topic on the cyclotron was dealt with well by some useful
contribution from MIR.Thank you very much dude.In this topic we shall
cover the basic image processing techniques that are involved in the
image restoration and reconstruction of CT,MRI,PET,PET-CT images.
Members are requested to explain any technique that they want to
talk about with an example.
Keep posting!

okay the various image reconstruction techniques as per my knowledge
are
1. Simple backprojection
2. Filtered backprojection
3. Central slice theorem (fourier)
4. 3d reconstruction---Multiplanar,Image segmentation etc,.
