Hello everyone,
Had been to a trek on 18,19,20 th oct with 2 more friend,
found out the route from one route to another, From from Ratangad to
Harishchandragad. was approx 35 kms. don't know the distance, Started
form Samrad village, on 18th morning, then took a route towards
Ratangad fort, Visited Sandan valley (route having 5 ft of water) in
between , headed towards Ratangad fort. We saw ratangad fort . While
searching for the route to Kumshet , our next stop we got lost as we
headed to a route of a different direction. We could not afford to
waste our time going back searching our route as it was 4 or 5 pm and
the sun sets at 6-6:30 approx. As we headed towards the wrong route ,
by the grace of the Almighty we found a hutment, where an old man on
70-75 yrs was living, his friends and sons had gone to work , where
they returned before 6. This was where we experienced benightment.
Then the the next day 19th,the persons whom we lived with , one of
them agreed to drop us till the route to Kumshet , he left us till a
cole ( khind ) where we had to go to Kumshet village . After full use
of brains and intelligence , we found out Kumshet, and headed towards
next stop Pethechi wadi (small village having only 15-20 houses ). We
started following a route which we had decided to follow, but it made
us confused as it was heading towards a different direction, and took
as to a small village, smaller than Pethechi wadi called as Pailichi
wadi. a small boy showed us the route to Pethechi wadi , we gave him
some golya,(goliya) and chikki as a token of appreciation. We rested
for 5 mins in that wadi and headed towards Pachnai base village of
Harishchandragad, but before Harishchandragad, we were supposed to do
Kaladgad, base village Pethechi Wadi. then we climbed Kaladgad a 30%
stair climbing with good exposure and slippery rock, and came down.
then went to Pachnai Base village of harishchandrgad stayed there. on
20th 6:30 am saw the fort came back and headed to Pune .

this was a good experience, will send photos is some days ,

Happy adventures,

regards
Avinav
