Position: Business Systems Analyst
Location: Long Island/Melville, NY
Duration: One Year
Qualifications
• Ten years of Item Processing experience.
• Very strong knowledge of bank operations, including ten years of Item
Processing operations experience. Working knowledge of Return Items, Referrals,
Research & Adjustments and other day 2 functions a plus.
• Knowledge of VisionIP systems and modules, including XVision, CAR/LAR, also
Fed Inclearing, X9 file formats, Image ATM, multi-channel ICL inputs.
• Strong knowledge of check availability along with customer and bank float
assignments, working knowledge of Float Pricing and Float Manager a plus
• Comprehensive understanding of image check clearing networks, including
clearing houses such as SVPCo. Expertise in clearing house settlement systems
and associated proofs covering multiple cutoff times.
• Strong knowledge of branch operations including branch image processing and
how it interacts with Item Processing. Knowledge of ARGO Teller, ARGO Branch
Image and Central Payments a plus
• Strong problem solving / Integrated thinking skills and able to multi-task
and prioritize workload.
• Attention to detail; proactive in approach to work; comfortable making
requests of others.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including interacting with
management, users, quality services and information technology professionals to
solve issues and create comprehensive solutions
Technical Skills
o MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
o Image Check Processing
o Basic understanding of requirements management and terms
