2016 Conference Feature Speaker

Registration for the annual Book of Mormon Lands Conference on April 16, 2016 at the Red Lion Hotel in Salt Lake City, is now available by going to the home page of the BMAF website. (www.bmaf.org) We have reduced the price by more than half ($25 pre-registration and $35 at the door) but will not be furnishing lunch. A box lunch prepared by the hotel ($13) is available for purchase at the same time you purchase your pass to the conference or at the door. The website is 100% safe to use either your bank card or Pay Pal.

 Our Feature Speaker this year is Brant Gardner,  a prolific author, lecturer and a true expert on Book of Mormon subjects.  Every serious student considers his Book of Mormon commentary series a "must read."

   

Brant A. Gardner (M.A. State University of New York Albany) is the author of Second Witness:Analytical and Contextual Commentary on the Book of Mormon and The Gift and Power: Translating the Book of Mormon.  He has contributed articles to Estudios de Cultura Nahuatl and Symbol and Meaning Beyond the Closed Community. He has presented papers at the FairMormon conference, the BMAF conferences and the Sunstone conference.  Grant has co-written multiple articles.  One of his latest is collaborations is with Mark Wright and is a very insightful look into the tenuous relationships between Nephites, Nephites deserter/apostates and Lamanites.
