BOOK OF MORMON ARCHAEOLOGICAL FORUM CONFERENCE

Normally, this time of year, BMAF members start thinking about their Fall calendar to make sure they wouldn't miss the annual Book of Mormon conference.   Every year we 

had to change the calendar around, often multiple times to avoid football games, weddings and other events.  We have tried several things to increase our attendance,  but it seems there is just too much competition from the calendar. 

We have decided to move the BMAF conference to the Spring season beginning Spring, 2016.  There will be no conference this Fall, but we will continue to send you these emails and, if you are not already, invite you to engage with other BMAF members from around the globe on our two Facebook sites:  BMAF News and BMAF Facebook.  If you're not quite sure about using Facebook and other social media, remember that all mankind's wonderful inventions started out with suspicion and can be used for both good and evil.  All 15 of our prophets have their own Facebook page and they have invited the entire Church to show a positive presence on the internet.  When you read something good on either Facebook site or other Church-oriented site, please click on the word "like" which will raise the activity statistics, a much-needed factor in the world of cyberspace.

Last, but certainly not least, we continue to upgrade and add to the corpus of articles on our website, which remains the most complete collection of responsible Book of Mormon material on the internet.  Every objection and criticism of the book has been addressed, including the heartland model.  We now have over 3,500 members and have posted over 300 articles on our website.
