Hi to all..
Today we had a meeting with our respected director sir Mr. D. S. Rao regarding the Finance students placements.
Issues discussed:
1) Though 80-85 companies have visited our campusfor placements the no. of financial firms (or companies whose profile are somewhat related to finance) is hardly 25…..
2) Since the last 4 months the placement process is going on , and hardly 2-3 finance firms havevisited the campus since December due to which we are under tremendous pressure…
3) We are solely dependent on college for our placement…
4) What the students must be expecting in the coming months?
Response from the Director Sir..
1) Students have to keep their patience.
2) Though placement is going pretty slow but companies will keep coming.
3) He has given some tentative figures (NOT A SURETY): Around 70-90 students till 10th March and then the target of 90-100 students in each subsequent months.
3) Placement season may get stretched upto June or July but he has given his assurance that college will give its full assistance regarding placements.
4) Finance students will have to trade off between the profile and package and have to be more flexible looking at the current market scenario.
Thanks to all....
