those comments have been deleted by moi so as not to distract anyone
from the Song of the Day thinger to which they were attached. i have
them archived elsewhere.

you can read about the Song of the Day feature here:

http://groups.google.com/group/blurbees/msg/e0f789b546821c6f

which is far more interesting than this in-house blurbees.com "glitch"
crap.

suffice it to say that the "glitches" i've been experiencing are, um, /
interesting/ if not consistent or logical.

for instance, one of the ever-changing error messages associated with
that particular problem claimed that you needed to be subscribed to
the blurbees google group to view that "c'est la vie" page, which i
was, but that's besides the point because the blurbees google group
settings indicate otherwise -- blurbees.com content is available to
non-subscribers. but that's just the tip of the "glitch" iceberg,
believe you me.

anyway...

i won't bother you friendly readers with all of my unwanted and
undeserved adversities.

like you'd care even a slight bit.

i know the drill.

so, from now on, i'll keep them all to myself, k?

...

Sincerely,
Mr. B$ Blurbees

except for this funny one.

the post i just sent out a minute or so ago had decided, all on its
own, to change the source email from the blurbees gmail.com address to
the alternate blurbees blurbees.com address.

hilarious.

ok.

'nuff said.

rinse. repeat.

now, i'm looking at the "from" designator on this post, which i
haven't changed at all, and it shows the gmail.com blurbees address.
i'll now copy and paste it from the compose window header above:

From: blurbees <blur...@gmail.com>
To: blurbees
Add Cc | Add Followup-to | Edit Subject

that's the address which is the one that this blurbees gmail.com
account is supposed to use as the default "from" address for posting
to the blurbees google group, as per how i have it set-up in the
subscription settings.

but whatever.

let's see now what address it will use as the "from" address when i
send out this post.
