Arcade1UP is a series of arcade machines, launched in 2018 by Tastemakers. They are intended for home use, lacking coin slots, and were sold in retail stores. Unlike most home machines, however, they are about the same size as a real arcade machine - only being around a foot shorter. Many Pac-Man and Namco Arcade1UPs have been released, with various different game lists and form factors.
Additionally, most Arcade1UP models released from 2021 onward feature the speed up chip versions of their respective games (accessible via the settings menu). Some Arcade1UP machines also feature Gorf (1981), but it is grouped in with the Midway/Williams license instead of with the Namco machines.
The standard models are the closest in form factor to an actual arcade machine. They are roughly three-fourths the height of an original machine, though additional "Risers" can be used to increase their height. Some models need to be assembled before use, while others are sold pre-built.
The "Legacy Edition" series is a special line of Arcade1UP cabinets. While differentiated by "series", the difference between a regular and a "legacy" Arcade1UP is not very apparent; though in some cases, the legacy models feature more accurate designs and cabinet shapes to the standard ones.
The "Deluxe" series is similar to the aforementioned Legacy line. The most notable difference seen in the Pac-Man "deluxe" machines is that the screen is properly slanted, in the same way as the original arcade machines; whereas previous models featured the screen completely upright.
The Counter-Cades are countertop machines; somewhat similar to the 80s Coleco Tabletop series, though much bigger in size. They feature smaller screens than the other models due to their form factor, but still feature full-size joysticks and buttons.
The Partycades are slim, medium-sized models. They come with various pieces of additional hardware: allowing the Partycade to either be displayed like a tabletop machine, hung on a wall, or hung over a door. All released models were exclusive to QVC/HSN, unless specified by an asterisk (*) below.

The Infinity Game Table looks interesting to say the least. Where Arcade1Up has previously worked almost exclusively on recreations of arcade games and attractions from upright and cocktail mini arcades to digital pinball machines, the Infinity Game Table explores the tabletop gaming space. It offers single players and groups a virtual means to access a number of activities including board games, jigsaw puzzles, and comic books. Now, Arcade1Up is taking the new product to Kickstarter where would-be buyers can both support its production and lock down purchase of the table. A game and activity list has also been released.

One of the most beloved fighting games of all time is finally getting the Arcade1Up treatment. Marvel vs. Capcom 2, the legendary crossover extravaganza from 2000, is the latest game featured by the replica arcade cabinet company.
Marvel vs. Capcom 2 gathers 56 playable heroes and villains from both Marvel and Capcom's robust catalogs of characters in an over-the-top 3v3 fighting game. In addition to giving you something approximating the original arcade experience through this replica cabinet, the Arcade1Up release also features online play via Wi-Fi.
Marvel vs. Capcom 2 has been largely unavailable since 2013, with home digital versions getting delisted or physical copies skyrocketing in price. Arcade1Up's Marvel vs. Capcom 2 cabinet opens up for pre-orders starting September 8, with orders shipping a few weeks later in early October. The package includes a matching custom riser, light-up marquee, a headphone jack, and exclusive side-panel art. You can sign up to be notified of when pre-orders go live at Arcade1Up's official page.

While Arcade1Up has shown X-Men as an upcoming title on their website for quite a while now, details have been sparse. Thankfully today Arcade1Up has broken their silence and released a few details, including the game list! X-Men has been one of the most requested titles since Arcade1Up first began releasing their incredibly popular line of 3/4th size arcade machines, and this announcement brings us one step closer to being able to bring this classic home!

Awhile ago we posted the following PSA on a few modding facebook pages:
We want to make it clear, that demanding cabinets be modified isn't going to get us to look at them any faster and is in fact demotivational. We will start intentionally avoiding cabinets or people that make demands.
Things like this will make us care less and ultimately just avoid the cabinet altogether, just wanted to throw that out there because I'm getting annoyed seeing this stuff and the constant questions of "This thing has a USB" or "This thing has an SD Card", or "The countercades are the same as the 3/4th why isn't this done there". No, they're not the same you're making an assumption and a stupid one. I had considered doing bigbuck sooner than later, but at this point, I will intentionally avoid it just because of this person... we have a long list of cabinets to go through and entitled attitudes won't help.
USB Ports, SD Card slots, Ethernet ports or any other form of peripheral does not make something more or less hackable, the methods we utilize do not rely on these while we may integrate them for use with the modification each cabinet will be different, not every cabinet will be running Batocera when we mod it as an example.
Thanks to all of those who appreciate the work and continue to support us/me in what we do I know I can come off as an asshole at times, but I'm trying to be clear as to why. We do this for fun and entitlement and such makes this less fun and makes me want to walk away from the hobby altogether.
They got your bitch ass to come and make a comment you literally on their site talking shit. What no one will read your blog if you even created one crying about team encoders. Go make a fucking hack if then here there a list of request nba jam outrun pacman any of the arcades do something cause you're just a p.o.s. crying about what they can do or not do and what have you even did ??? Shit do big buck hunter. You mad over what?? We all curious to know what is this bitch so upset about ??
New to this but trying the nba jam countercade mod. With switch in off position and unplugged, when i connect the usbc to usb to my laptop the countercade boots up when i click on the extracted file. It allows me to update the drivers, but after closing the box the 2nd box stays greyed out. Cannot go further. Any help appreciated
First, I want to thank you for the work and time you put in to make these soft mods. God knows I don't have the time, patience, and skill level to do any software engineering. Some things I just don't want to hardware mod all day you know but if I can get the original components to do extra stuff when people come over, thats a great feeling.
