Graeme, ditto to what everyone has said during the last week.

Now, I , like many, have not pulled my subscription out of support to you.  I have not closed my Etsy Store as it is just too soon and my alternative is not fully realized yet.

BUT, I WILL be leaving Etsy as I do not see it as a sustainable community and platform for running a business. (at least not a business I want to be part of.)  I will not hitch my wagon to Etsy as the action against sellers and BluGrin just reveals how much of an "amateur hour" is Etsy.   I know that you have to recover and salvage something by getting back in the game but in the long run, you need to "unhitch from" the Etsy Team too.

There is a huge unmet need over and above a listing editor for one platform and you have the skills, energy and professionalism to provide some solutions.

I hope you get to extend your run at Etsy and keep some cash flow going as you work on and implement an exit strategy that you can execute on your timing not thiers.

I've been thinking this for quite a while now. Wherever you go, I go...even if it means leaving Etsy...off to another handmade venue or such. Etsy has been my "home" since 2006. I learned never marry my assets...only date them until I no longer need them. Expect the unexpected is what my husband always said.
