reunion

To all you current Blues, especially our fantastic organizer,
Christine:

Thank you, thank you, thank you for bringing us all together yesterday
for such a wonderful celebration. It was a perfect opportunity to
reconnect not only with fellow Blues we hadn't seen for years, but
also with a very special time in all our lives. As one of the earlier
alums, I was struck by how quickly and easily we came back together,
both personally and musically. Many of us look at our time in the
Blues as the defining part of our college career, and I think that was
evident in the emotion and energy that was all around us this weekend.
Being up on stage with that amazing group of women, creating that
gorgeous music, just filled my heart and soul (to the point that it
was actually a bit difficult to sing). For those of you currently in
the Blues, I hope that your experience is equally powerful, to the
point that you, too, will cry at your reunion. Thank you for giving us
the opportunity/excuse to rediscover each other and reacquaint
ourselves with our Inner Blues.
