Hello list. A while back, I posted a demo of a tabs plugin that I was
working on. It was lacking support in IE 6 at the time, but I had to
revisit it today and I was able to come up with a fix. I have since
create a Github repo for this plugin and I have a proper demo here:

http://blueprintcss.org/demos/tabs.html

The repo is here:

http://github.com/Montoya/blueprint-plugin---tabs/

If someone could test this in IE 7 that would be great. Also, feel
free to fork this repo and play with it.

Christian, it works fine in IE7, and I think it's great because styling tabs with the current jQuery UI examples has been overly complex.  PS you might be interested in my jquery.loremipsum.js plugin for development of layouts.

Funny you should mention that! I think there's some value in creating
a Blueprint plugin that combines some styling for some basic UI
widgets with styling for the widgets provided by jQuery UI, so sort of
a "Blueprint UI Theme." There's still some work that needs to be done
since I've found that the current version of Blueprint conflicts with
a few rules from jQuery UI, but I think it could be done.

Anyway, that's enough jQuery-specific love for now.

Looks good in IE7. How about an accordion to go with it??

That looks great!
I'm going to include it in a new project as it is exactly what we were
doing.... now (here come the requests!) it would be cool if some of
the tabs could have drop down menus too.

Hello Christian,

Many thanks for this update. It's very nice and does work in IE6. That
height:1% fix is true amazing.

Last night I had a look at the code and applied a the fix to a
TabStrip plugin that I've made which is partly based on Sliding Doors
technique (from A List Apart) and the BluePrintCss Tab. You can check
it out here: http://xwisdomhtml.com/raxan-files/examples/rich-tabstrip-explorer.html

That's a real sleek tab. I'm going to use it
with blueprint. Thanks.
